HanMade Patchology

One-of-a-kind pieces handmade with the planet in mind

  • HanMade Patchology was founded in November 2023 as a way for me to showcase all of my past sewing projects and quickly turned into the small business that it is today. Since the beginning, I have been dedicated to sustainability throughout all aspects of my work, and it is still the most important facet in my near-zero-waste business model. I’ve made bags, clothing, jewelry, pillows, wall art, cards, and more! I love experimenting with new techniques and making new products so rest assured, I will always have something new for you little freaks to feast your eyes on.

  • Everything I sell is made out of second hand materials. Mainly sourced from thrift stores, estate sales, and facebook market place. Including, but not limited to, all jewelry supplies, fabric, embellishments, packaging materials, and thread. I even use up every scrap piece of fabric and recycle them back into other projects.

My goal is to help give a second life to fabrics and materials that may otherwise have been sent to the landfill. I want to show that sustainable fashion can be super fun, colorful, and stylish and that there are more options out there than simply following fast fashion trends.

  • Do you have old fabric, jeans, beads, zippers or other materials that you’ve been meaning to get rid of?

Send me an email to @hannahmbruder@gmail.com with a picture/description of the items and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!

Currently searching for: Nothing! All stocked up for now. If you’ve got something really cool, feel free to still shoot me an email :)

  • Do you want me to make you something special?

Keep in mind I only use second hand materials so encountering specific colors/materials can sometimes be tricky. That being said, I will work with you to create something as close to your vision as possible!

When commissions are open, send me an email to hannahmbruder@gmail.com (or fill out the form in my “Contact” section) with your idea, and I will let you know if I am up for the challenge!
